Artists and Athletes! 

Art and athletics combine to create high-quality, eye-catching apparel for your outdoor adventures. Our team finds that the seeds of inspiration sprout when your oxygenated brain meets the awe of nature. The outdoors provide a space for exercise, adventure, and creativity. That flow state comes when you and your bike become one, carving down a trail, when the powder flies across your cheek in the perfect faceshot, and when your mind and your fingers coordinate to draw out the right words, the exact image, the spot-on emotion from your art. To us, art and athletics are inseparable. It's the perfect feedback loop that keeps us going, keeps us striving, and keeps us creating. 

The Inspiration

Cruxii started as a spark of inspiration in a forest of busy schedules, burn out, and passion. As creatives, we’ve always strove to make art a central feature in our lives, but too often, the trope of starving artist came like a wolf in the night to eat away at our dreams. And so, through many bike rides, lift rides, ski runs, and desert climbing trips, Cruxii flared into existence.

Like many things, Cruxii is intended to get you through the hard things. The last push up the hill. The final lunge in your tele turn. The extra oomph in that dynamic bouldering move.

But, we’re not only about the athletics. Cruxii is also for the days with too little food, not enough sleep, and all the fee-fees that come with being a small person. Because we are parents, too…and we know! Sometimes a unicorn can actually save the day! ;)

Wear your heART on your sleeve…

Art does not have to be relegated to the wall or shelves of your home or a museum. To us, art should be just as practical as any item. In fact, it makes the most sense that your most used items should be art because, why wouldn’t you want to incorporate art into every day? Hence, wearable art. But, this art can be stretched, sweated on, rubbed in dirt, crumpled, and washed so you can admire it over and over again.

So much of the creative process is invisible.
